The Channel of Intimacy

Gate 59 (Sexuality) sits in the Sacral Center. The teachings calls it the "aura breaker" because it penetrates defenses to create union. It generates genetic strategies for sexual bonding and creating new life. Each of its six lines describes a different bonding strategy: The Preemptive Strike, Shyness, Openness, Brotherhood/Sisterhood, The Femme Fatale/Casanova, and The One Night Stand. These are genetic strategies singularly focused on selecting the best partner for producing viable offspring.

Gate 6 (Friction) sits in the Solar Plexus Center. Its keynote is "The fundamental design component of progress - the law that growth cannot exist without friction." It generates a powerful motorized wave designed to create friction aimed at Gate 59, producing heat essential for growth and fertility. Gate 6 acts as a diaphragm, determining who to be intimate with, when intimacy can occur, and what bonding role you will play.

The emotional wave that powers this channel is not yet aware. The teachings states it operates blindly with tremendous force, driven by need, passion, and desire. It creates children and chaos in its wake and operates beyond logical control.

A defined Solar Plexus is always one's Authority. The emotional wave requires waiting to find clarity over time. Gate 6 generates three modes of emotional awareness: feelings, moods, and sensitivity. You step into another's aura, friction occurs. The conflict either resolves into resonance and intimacy proceeds, or remains unresolved and you must wait for the emotional wave to complete. This channel's unstable emotional mechanism for perpetuating life often comes at the expense of personal lives.

The teachings recommends cultivating friendship first before diving into intimacy, waiting out the emotional wave to find clarity over time, and allowing the wave to draw you together again if nothing was conceived. Touch and proximity release pent-up emotions in healthy ways.

If conditioned by not-self spontaneity and ignoring Sacral response, this channel creates confusion in social interactions, long-term repercussions such as unwanted children or failed ventures, and misunderstanding from others who feel you are coming on to them. The channel works best as an electromagnetic connection between two people, one with Gate 59 and one with Gate 6, creating balance between the urge to penetrate barriers and the emotional timing of release.
