The Channel of Power

When Gate 34 (power) combines with Gate 57 (intuition), the Sacral's generative life force empowers the Spleen's awareness. The Spleen stays constantly alert, attuned, and on guard. The body consciousness registers threats before the mind knows. Spontaneous action occurs to ensure survival.

It is never what we think is good for us that will protect us, but rather how we intuitively respond to the diverse vibrations of places or the people around us in the moment. Without this defensive intuitive intelligence empowered to act spontaneously, we would not and could not have individuated or evolved as a species.

Two qualities distinguish Gate 34 from the other eight Sacral gates: its asexuality and the unavailability of its power to others. This energy is for you only. It must remain pure in its power and always accessible to you.

Gate 34 can connect to three different gates creating three different channels: Gate 57 (Channel 34-57, Power), Gate 20 (Channel 34-20, Charisma), and Gate 10 (Channel 34-10, Exploration). In this channel, the power serves intuitive survival. People with 34-57 do not take kindly to anything that disturbs their realm of well-being and can become defensive if necessary to maintain it.

You must be consistently grounded in and connected to your body consciousness. Gate 57 operates on an inner sound and vibration level, constantly penetrating your environment, screening for threats, registering what is safe versus unsafe. Gate 57 is the gate of the right ear. That little voice that only speaks once and softly is your guide.

This channel requires physical awareness, present-moment focus, acoustic alertness, and physical fitness. Having evolved beyond the eat-or-be-eaten level of existence, people with this channel now rely on their alertness to sustain a healthy vitality and growing awareness long enough to live out and appreciate life's gifts.

The great and enduring power undergirding this channel of the archetype is the experience of yourself as an aware and unique being. Once self-empowered, you become an inspiring example of what it means to enjoy being a vitally alive, differentiated human being, pure and unconditioned, living moment by moment in response.
