The Channel of Recognition

Gate 41 holds potential for all human experiences but releases or initiates only one at a time. This is its limitation and yours. Each new experience holds promise of a new feeling. The initiating Root pressure builds as vague expectation, sexual fantasy, or restless need to experience something new with someone, though you're not sure what, when, or with whom.

You bring balance to this unfocused, confusing restlessness by writing or daydreaming about fulfilling your wildest desires, vicariously experiencing them through literature and movies, or moving freely through encounters without expectations.

Gate 30 teaches that your experiences are conceived from desire and then meet life on the highs and lows of your emotional wave. Desire can feel like obsessive hunger, weaving yearnings of different lives together and influencing every interaction until satisfied or fulfilled.

You have control over the clarity with which you enter experience, not over the outcome. Whether desire will be fulfilled, the emotional journey once committed, how the fates respond to your yearning: none of this is in your hands. Balance comes through surrender to what is, accepting your limitation or place in the larger pattern.

After the wild rides are complete, this channel stimulates deep reflection for all participants. Each new experience allows you to perceive or connect to a nuance of emotion, which you can then describe for the Collective. Your reflections on feeling and desiring deeply, while experiencing your humanness, become a gift for others.

Over time you learn that desire brings great joy or excitement as well as pain, and that fulfillment of any desire does not last long. The secret: simply enjoy your dreams and each experience in itself, without giving in to pressure of expectation.

Your restlessness for new experience is balanced by developing the patience needed to follow emotional Authority. Taking sufficient time through your wave to make clear decisions protects you from leaping into experiences that aren't correct.

Waiting through the emotional wave gives essential time for clarity to emerge, discernment about which desires are correct to jump into, and protection from wild rides that aren't yours. The profound teaching of this channel: life is what we allow it to be, not what we expect it to be.
